I have been having some trouble with my left knee. It is a cruel reminder of my time in Seattle in June, 2007 when I couldn't walk and was in great pain due to an ankle injury. I saw an orthopedic doctor this morning who took x-rays and told me I have a little arthritis in the knee and probably a meniscus tear. He didn't think it was bad enough to limit my activity. After the examination, he injected cortisone and told me I should be able to walk and zip line on the trip. I'll see him after the trip if I continue to have trouble to address the tear. It has felt much better the last couple days, so I'm very hopeful I'll be mobile. I have borrowed a knee brace from Dad and the doctor gave me the okay to use it if I'm in pain and feel I need it. I'm resting the knee today and will increase my activity with a short bike ride tomorrow with a Curves workout on Wednesday.
